Trunk or Treat at church

Our pumpkins we carved this year.

Alliya as Cinderella, excited she has some candy. She woke up and said, "It's candy day."

Payton was a cute little pirate for Halloween

Alliya's Pajamas

Indian dances every night in Cortez

We went and checked out the Indian dancers at the Cortez Cultural center. Alliya liked their costumes and asked them about them after the dances were finished.

Rolling down the river

Some lady in Dolores let us borrow some tubes and life jackets to go tubing down the river. We didn't get very far because the tubes had holes. It was still fun for Payton. Alliya was a little worried there would be a waterfall and sharks, she said.

Alliya goes pooof

Kaylee thought it would be great to put Alliya's hair in curlers for church. Kaylee bought some small curlers Saturday night and Alliya slept in them overnight. Kaylee had some suspicion of what might happen.

It's as if Kaylee didn't do enough to make Alliya just like her, she had to make her hair the same way hers was when she was little.

Kaylee put it up for church and after it looked pretty good. It's like we have two curly haired kids now.

Our little guy

Payton is starting to eat more and more on his own — that's not to say it doesn't get absolutely everywhere when he does.
We also thought since we live in Cortez cowboy country, we would let hom take a try at riding a horse. He fell off a few times but he may in a rodeo one day if stay here too long.
After a few tries at getting on the horse couldn't take it and Payton sat down and the horse broke a leg — guess we'll have to put it down.

Our 5th anny

We had fun checking out some nice cars in one of the parks here. There were some really sweet rides. Then we went to Farmington for dinner. We can't believe how fast time flies. Five years of marriage has gone so fast and for the most part been fun. Who knows what the next five years will bring? It should be interesting to see what happens.
